The purpose of the Vice President – Inbound role is to strategize and lead domestic (India) and international travel operations for clients based overseas, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and profitability growth in alignment with organisational and business goals.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry, particularly in international sales, inbound tourism, B2B partnerships, destination management, contracting, vendor management, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Co-create brand strategies and marketing plans with the branding and marketing function to enhance brand awareness among target customers.
- Collaborate with the business development team to develop current client segments and channel partners across the globe.
- Develop business across international markets, including Europe, the Middle East, CIS countries, Turkey, Greece, and other potential regions.
- Establish strategic partnerships with overseas tour operators and travel companies.
- Promote Indian luxury travel experiences and curated travel products in international markets.
- Identify top-tier clientele, oversee their travel requirements, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and nurture long-term relationships.




- Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of customer service through process improvements and technology interventions.
- Develop and monitor adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all departmental processes to enhance data security, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and manage vendor relationships to ensure consistently excellent customer service.
- Lead and manage a team, taking responsibility for employee performance, career development, and satisfaction.
- Participate in leadership discussions to define and drive the organisation's business growth strategy.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry.
- Strong experience in International Sales and Business Development.
- Experience in Inbound Tourism, B2B Sales, Travel Operations, and Destination Management.
- Strong network of international travel agents, tour operators, and industry partners.
- Experience in vendor management, contracting, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience representing organisations at international travel fairs and exhibitions will be preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in leading travel organisations, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), inbound travel companies, luxury travel companies, or international tourism businesses will be preferred.
