Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design railway telecom subsystems, including backbone and networking systems, in line with customer, operational, and functional requirements.
- Prepare, maintain, and close telecom design documents with customers and project stakeholders.
- Participate in customer technical workshops and support resolution of design comments and interface issues.
- Define and manage interfaces between telecom systems, railway signaling, rolling stock, and other railway subsystems.
- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors, and provide technical support to testing and commissioning teams.

Skills Required:

- 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably as an independent contributor in railway telecom or IT and telecom systems.




- Hands-on experience with telecom and networking system design in railway or transportation projects.
- Understanding of railway systems, railway signaling, and telecom operations.
- Experience in Fiber Optic Transmission Systems (FOTS), including telecom transmission design and implementation.
- Knowledge of backbone networking, including network architecture, connectivity, and integration.
- Experience in telecom network design, including system architecture, network planning, and interface definition.
- Experience developing telecom interfaces with signaling, rolling stock, and related railway systems.
- Ability to produce engineering design documentation, support technical reviews, and drive customer approvals.

Positive to Have:
- Experience with Fiber Channel.

Education: B.Tech degree in any engineering branch.
