About Kala

Kala is an upcoming contemporary womenswear brand inspired by Indian craftsmanship and the timeless beauty of khadi. We're working towards creating a collection of thoughtfully designed shirts, trousers and co-ord sets that bring together comfort, quality and understated elegance.

We're looking for creative minds who'd love to get involved in building our social media presence from the ground up.

About the prospect

This is an unpaid, two-month internship running from November to December 2026. You'll get hands-on exposure to content creation, social media management and the process of building a fashion brand.

Based on your performance, consistency and the quality of your work, you'll have the opportunity to be considered for a paid position after the internship.

What you'll be doing

- Creating Instagram posts, carousels, Stories and short-form video concepts.
- Helping develop content around our launch countdown, design ideas, fashion and audience engagement.
- Repurposing suitable content for Facebook and YouTube.
- Working with Canva or similar tools to create visually appealing content.
- Organising content drafts, captions and final designs in Google Drive.
- Collaborating with the founder, sharing ideas and making improvements based on feedback.

Skills we're looking for





- Basic knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
- Good written communication and attention to detail.
- Creativity, consistency and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.

Nice to have

- Experience creating social media content or designing carousels.
- Basic video editing skills.
- An interest in fashion, clothing, textiles or visual storytelling.
- A portfolio or sample designs to share. Personal projects are absolutely fine!

Commitment and work arrangement

- Remote and flexible working hours.
- At least 1 hour of dedicated work per day, with the option to spend 1–1.5 hours when needed.
- A brief daily check-in of around 10 minutes at a mutually agreed time.
- Initial commitment of two months, from November to December 2026.

We're looking for people who are curious, dependable and excited to contribute ideas not people who already know everything.
