The Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound Site Engineer to drive the execution and coordination of our IIoT deployment projects at client locations.

The candidate will act as the key coordination link between client teams and ANTAR IoT's engineering and software teams, ensuring smooth execution and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with client engineering, electrical, instrumentation, IT, and operations teams.
- Conduct project kickoff meetings and communicate deployment plans, responsibilities, and timelines.
- Coordinate site access, safety approvals, work permits, and installation schedules.
- Track client-side readiness, including power supply, cabling, network connectivity, field wiring, and equipment installation.
- Install, configure, and commission IIoT gateways and monitoring devices.
- Support integration of industrial sensors, flow meters, and field instruments.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical connections, RS485 communication, networking, and gateway connectivity.
- Maintain project schedules, daily progress reports, action trackers,



and commissioning documentation.
- Identify project bottlenecks, follow up on pending activities, and escalate issues proactively.

Technical Skills

- Basic understanding of industrial automation, instrumentation, sensors, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of RS485, Modbus RTU/TCP, Ethernet, and MQTT is an advantage.
- Familiarity with IoT gateways, networking, and field-device integration.
- Good communication and client coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and project reporting.
- Willingness to travel to industrial client locations as required.

What We Are Looking For We need someone who takes ownership and drives activities to closure.

The ideal candidate should be capable of:

- Coordinating confidently with client stakeholders.
- Getting commitments and timelines for pending activities.
- Ensuring site readiness before deployment visits.
- Minimising unnecessary repeat site visits through effective planning.
- Keeping internal engineering teams updated on progress, risks, and dependencies.

Key: This role involves coordinating and verifying client-side readiness. Activities such as client-side cabling, field wiring, meter mounting, electrical infrastructure, permits, and shutdown arrangements will remain under the client's responsibility and must be tracked and coordinated by the Site Engineer. ?
