Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician (Diesel Generator) role based in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Service

Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel generators, including inspection, servicing, and replacement of parts to ensure optimal performance and safety. The role involves diagnosing faults, carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs, and troubleshooting issues in the field at customer locations. The technician will handle field service calls, complete service documentation,



and coordinate with the service team and supervisors to plan and execute work orders efficiently.

Providing professional customer support, explaining findings and recommended actions, and adhering to company safety standards and protocols are key aspects of the daily work.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills for diesel generators and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
- Candidates should possess Field Service skills, including on-site service execution and accurate service reporting.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, manage expectations, and provide clear communication.
- Relevant technical qualification such as ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience with diesel generator servicing, safety procedures, and basic electrical and mechanical tools.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Kolkata Area and nearby regions for on-site service assignments.
- Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to work in the field, and capacity to work independently or in small teams.
