Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Surveyor role based in Ujjain.

The Senior

Surveyor will lead and execute land and construction surveying activities, including field measurements, topographic surveys, and layout marking for infrastructure and EPC projects.

Responsibilities include operating and overseeing survey instruments, validating survey data, preparing survey drawings and reports, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate alignment and levels.



The role involves supervising junior surveyors and technicians, implementing quality and safety standards, and resolving survey-related issues during project execution.

The Senior

Surveyor will also support planning and progress monitoring by providing precise data for design, quantity assessment, and construction control.

Qualifications

- Strong field surveying expertise, including land and construction surveys, topographic surveys, and setting out for structures and linear projects.
- Proficiency with survey instruments and technologies such as total stations, auto levels, GPS/GNSS equipment, and digital data collection tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and designs, and translate them into accurate site layout, alignment, and level control.
- Experience preparing survey reports, maintaining records, and using basic survey or CAD software for plotting and documentation.
- Demonstrated capability to supervise survey teams on-site, coordinate with multidisciplinary project stakeholders, and adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Relevant technical qualification in civil engineering, surveying, or a related discipline; professional certification in surveying is an advantage.
- Prior experience as a surveyor on large infrastructure or EPC projects, preferably in power, transportation, or industrial construction environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work in outdoor site conditions with a focus on timely, accurate deliverables.
