About the Opportunity An AI research project is seeking senior semiconductor engineering professionals to develop challenging technical problems and evaluate AI-generated solutions. You will apply deep domain expertise and engineering judgment to define technically accurate answers and objective evaluation criteria.

Key Responsibilities

- Design complex technical problems across device physics, process integration, circuit design, lithography, packaging, yield, and reliability.
- Develop accurate solutions with transparent technical reasoning.
- Establish objective criteria for evaluating technical correctness.
- Review other contributors' problems for accuracy and sound methodology.
- Identify ambiguous or ungradable problems and flag them for revision.

Required Qualifications

- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics,



or a closely related field.
- Principal, Staff, or Fellow-level experience at a major semiconductor company, or a faculty appointment at a leading university.
- Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in at least one semiconductor subdomain.
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to assess technical solutions under real-world constraints.
- Ability to explain technical reasoning clearly and precisely.

Preferred Qualifications

- Publications, patents, or a record of technical leadership.
- Previous AI or LLM evaluation experience (not required).

Compensation

- $85–$185 per hour.
