Role Description The Retail Merchandiser is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring that products are presented effectively and consistently across assigned retail locations. In this role, the merchandiser will plan and execute product displays, maintain inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and ensure accurate pricing and promotional signage. The role involves coordinating with store staff, collecting on-ground insights, and reporting on product performance, customer feedback, and competitive activity through digital tools provided by ZobHunger.

Merchandiser will follow defined guidelines and use ZobHunger’s technology platform to document completion of tasks, upload visual evidence, and track daily assignments. This role requires regular virtual collaboration with supervisors and client teams to support sales and marketing initiatives and to help improve in-store visibility and customer experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with store teams and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to handle customer inquiries professionally and support a positive in-store experience.
- Candidates should possess Retail skills, including understanding of store layouts, merchandising standards, and basic inventory handling.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to support product promotion, contribute to revenue growth, and implement in-store campaigns.
- Candidates should have the ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet task deadlines using digital tools.
- Prior experience in retail merchandising, field sales, or FMCG/consumer goods environments is beneficial.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and apps for task tracking, reporting, and photo documentation is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; additional certifications in retail, marketing, or related fields are an advantage.
