Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in Hosur.

The Production

Engineer will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards for pre-engineered steel buildings.

Responsibilities include production planning, coordinating with design, procurement, and installation teams, and monitoring workflow, material usage, and equipment performance. The role involves analyzing production data, identifying process improvements, and implementing corrective actions to reduce waste and optimize output.

Engineer will also support quality control inspections, maintain documentation, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering expertise, with experience in steel structures, fabrication, or pre-engineered buildings.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and problem-solving abilities to assess production performance and drive process improvements.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Production Planning and scheduling, including resource allocation and workflow optimization.
- Candidates should possess a positive understanding of Quality Control practices, inspection methods, and adherence to engineering and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordination with design, procurement, site, and shop-floor teams.
- Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, shop-floor practices, and ERP or production tracking systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
