Role Description The Preschool Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat at KidsCorner Pre School. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons for Playgroup, Nursery, Jr. KG, or Sr.

KG, aligned with the school’s play-based and activity-driven curriculum. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating learning through games, stories, art, and music; supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development; and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.



The teacher will observe and document student progress, communicate regularly with families, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation and school events.

Additional duties include preparing learning materials, managing classroom routines, and participating in staff meetings and career development activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Early Childhood Education and Kindergarten teaching practices.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for preschool and kindergarten levels.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with preschool or kindergarten-age children in a classroom or childcare setting.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that supports diverse learning needs.
- Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills, with a commitment to child-centered learning.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, school events, and collaborative planning with the teaching team.
