Role Description The Placement Coordinator & Aptitude Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves planning and executing campus placement activities, including coordinating with recruiting companies, scheduling interviews, and maintaining employer relationships. The coordinator will guide students on career pathways, prepare them for placement drives, and track placement outcomes.

As an Aptitude Trainer, the individual will design and deliver training sessions on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and verbal skills, and conduct mock tests and assessments to improve students’ performance.



The role also includes collaborating with faculty and management to align training programs with industry expectations and providing regular feedback and progress reports on student readiness.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, faculty, and recruiters.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including explicit verbal and written communication suitable for training and employer interaction.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage recruiter engagement, respond to queries, and support student placement needs professionally.
- Candidates should possess Education-related skills, including experience in teaching, training, or academic support, ideally in aptitude or soft skills.
- Candidates should possess Recruiting-related skills, such as coordinating placement drives, liaising with hiring partners, and understanding basic recruitment processes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Education, or related fields; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in campus placements, training, corporate relations, or career services in an academic setting is preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office and basic data reporting, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
