Role Description The Offshore Structural Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and verification of fixed and floating offshore structures, including jackets, jack-up rigs, FPSO topsides, drillships, and semi-submersible topsides using SACS Software.

Day-to-day tasks include performing structural calculations, preparing engineering reports, developing design models, and reviewing drawings and specifications for compliance with international standards and client requirements.



The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to support all project phases, from concept and detailed design through fabrication, transportation, installation, and in-place assessments. The engineer will also assist in subsea-related structural evaluations, contribute to method statements, and support design reviews and technical presentations as needed.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in offshore structural engineering, including design and analysis of jackets, jack-up rigs, topsides, and floating structures.
- Proficiency with structural and offshore analysis software such as SACS.
- Experience with subsea and marine engineering tasks, such as riser analysis, mooring analysis, pipelay analysis, towing, upending, and installation studies.
- Strong skills in structural modeling, load assessment, fatigue and strength analysis, and application of relevant offshore codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO, DNV, ABS).
- Ability to prepare clear engineering documentation, including calculation reports, design notes, drawings review comments, and technical presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil, Structural, Ocean, or Marine Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- Previous experience in offshore oil and gas or marine projects, preferably with design consultancies or EPC contractors.
