Role Description The Network Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Canada, responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s network infrastructure. This role involves managing network operations, monitoring performance, and implementing configurations to ensure secure, reliable connectivity across all systems and offices. Day-to-day tasks include supervising network administration activities, diagnosing and resolving network issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and maintaining documentation of network architecture and changes.

The Network

Manager will also focus on enhancing network security, planning and executing network upgrades,



and contributing to the design and implementation of scalable solutions that support business growth. The role requires proactive management of network risks, ensuring high availability and compliance with relevant standards and best practices.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering to manage, configure, and support complex network environments.
- Strong abilities in Troubleshooting to identify, analyze, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Experience in Network Design to plan, implement, and optimize scalable, resilient network architectures.
- Proficiency in Network Security to protect infrastructure, implement security policies, and monitor for threats and vulnerabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, Nagios, SolarWinds).
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLANs, wireless networking, and cloud or hybrid networking environments.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
