Role Description The Mining Engineer will work in office in Danta in a full-time capacity, supporting the planning, design, and oversight of mining operations. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing mine plans, conducting geological and geotechnical assessments, and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring production performance, analyzing operational data, and recommending improvements to maximize resource recovery and cost efficiency.

The Mining

Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, coordinate with site supervisors and technical staff, and prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The position also requires active participation in risk assessments, equipment selection, and continuous improvement initiatives related to marble and other mineral extraction activities.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mining Engineering, with practical experience applying engineering principles to mine design and operations.
- Proficiency in Mine Planning and scheduling,



including the use of relevant mine planning software and tools.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating geological data, production metrics, and operational performance to support data-driven decisions.
- Experience or familiarity with Marble and Marble Mining processes, safety requirements, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mining Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to mining operations, with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Danta, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience with CAD or mine design software, geotechnical analysis tools, and production monitoring systems is beneficial.
- Prior experience in open-pit or underground mining environments and exposure to project management or cost estimation is an advantage.
