Job Summary

Responsible for design and development of Special Purpose Machines (SPM),

Automation Jigs, EOL Testers and Assembly Fixtures as per customer requirements and production needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1)Design of SPM machines, fixtures, and automation systems from concept to final execution.

2)Preparation of 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks /Top solid/ AutoCAD.

3)Selection of pneumatics, LM guides, ball screws, Nut & Bolt,

4)Perform load calculation, tolerance analysis, and material selection.





5)Coordinate with Electrical / PLC / Programming team for machine integration.

6)Prepare BOM, costing for mechanical Parts.

7)Support machine assembly, try-out, and debugging at the shop floor.

8)Implement Kaizen and cost-saving improvements in existing machines.

9)Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and machine compliance documents.

10)Ensure machines meet safety, quality and cycle time requirements.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of SPM Design, Machine Design and Jig & Fixtures

Proficient in SolidWorks / AutoCAD

Knowledge of Pneumatics (SMC, Festo), Linear Motion Systems

Basic understanding of machine Function

Positive communication and problem-solving skills
