Role Description The Manager or Senior Manager Design and Technical Sales Support is a full-time, in office role based in Bengaluru South. This role is responsible for providing technical and design-related support to the sales team, translating client requirements into practical product solutions and design recommendations. The position includes preparing design proposals, technical presentations, and product specifications, as well as coordinating with internal design, production, and quality teams to ensure feasibility and timely delivery.

The individual will engage directly with customers and channel partners to address technical queries, conduct product demonstrations, and support pre- and post-sales activities. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor offerings,



and customer feedback to inform design improvements and sales strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong design and technical aptitude, with the ability to interpret architectural drawings, material specifications, and client design briefs.
- Experience in technical sales support, solution selling, or product application support, preferably in building materials, laminates, surfaces, or related industries.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers, specifiers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic design or visualization tools (e.g., CAD or relevant design software) and comfort working with product datasheets and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or MBA in Marketing or Operations would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles, with strong relationship-building and problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel within the region for client meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations as required.
