About Azura Holidays

Azura Holidays is a luxury travel design company specialising in bespoke international holidays, exceptional hotels, and highly personalised travel experiences for discerning clientele.

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Luxury Travel Advisor with a strong understanding of international travel, luxury hospitality, and customised itinerary planning.

This is not an entry-level position. A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in travel or luxury hospitality is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Travel Planning & Itinerary Design

- Research, design, and prepare customised international travel itineraries.
- Recommend destinations, luxury hotels, experiences, and activities based on client preferences.
- Prepare detailed travel proposals, hotel comparisons, and itineraries.
- Coordinate with Senior Travel Advisors to ensure seamless execution of client travel arrangements.

Hotel Reservations & Supplier Coordination

- Handle hotel availability checks, rate comparisons, reservations, and booking confirmations.
- Liaise with luxury hotels, international suppliers, and destination management companies.
- Coordinate airport transfers, sightseeing, experiences, and other travel arrangements.
- Ensure accurate communication of guest preferences, VIP amenities, and special requests.
- Manage booking amendments, cancellation policies, and supplier follow-ups.

Costing & Documentation

- Prepare accurate travel quotations and costing sheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain client profiles, reservation records, and booking trackers.
- Assist with invoicing, flight quotations, and travel insurance enquiries.
- Ensure accuracy in rates, currencies, travel dates, room categories, and booking conditions.

Client Communication & Coordination





- Draft professional emails and communicate effectively with clients and international suppliers.
- Manage multiple requests while maintaining accuracy and timely responses.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistently high standards of service.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the travel or luxury hospitality industry.
- Demonstrable experience in preparing customised international travel itineraries.
- Hands-on experience with hotel reservations, supplier coordination, and rate comparisons.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including costing, quotations, and spreadsheet management.
- Good working knowledge of international destinations, luxury hotels, and premium travel experiences.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including professional client correspondence.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Willingness to work full-time from our Kolkata office.

Working Arrangements Location: Kolkata, West Bengal

Employment Type: Full-Time, Work From Office

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM IST

Preferred Minimum Commitment: 18 months

Key Application Information

This position requires existing professional competence in international travel planning, reservations, supplier coordination, and costing.

Candidates whose experience is limited to domestic travel, general customer service, unrelated hospitality functions, or purely sales-oriented roles without hands-on travel planning experience are unlikely to meet the requirements.

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a practical assessment evaluating their itinerary planning, hotel knowledge, Excel proficiency, and professional communication skills.

Only candidates who meet the mandatory eligibility criteria will be considered.
