Role Description

We’re looking for law students and graduates (BA LLB, LLB, or LLM) who want real exposure to how legal-tech products are actually built, not just legal research done in isolation, but legal research that ships into a live product used by practicing advocates. You’ll rotate across:

- Legal Research: researching Indian case law, statutes, and procedural rules (CPC, CrPC/BNSS, Evidence Act/BSA, and court rules across High Courts, District Courts, and Tribunals) to support product features and content
- Legal Content: contributing to our Acts library, legal knowledge base, and advocate-facing explainers, written to be accurate, current, and usable by a practicing lawyer under time pressure
- Product and Workflow Input: helping us map how advocates actually file cases, track cause lists, and manage hearings, then translating that real-world workflow into clear requirements our product team can build against
- AI-Assisted Legal Tools: reviewing and verifying legal Q&A;, draft outputs, and reference material used by our AI legal research and drafting features,

This Legal Intern role covers legal research, content, and product, and is a remote position. You’ll conduct structured legal research on Indian laws, cases, and regulations to support platform content and product features. Your responsibilities will include drafting and refining legal summaries, knowledge notes, and explanatory content for legal professionals, as well as assisting in the preparation and review of legal documents used on the platform. You’ll also collaborate with product and content teams to map legal concepts to product workflows, organize legal information, and test legal research tools and features, while helping maintain content quality, ensure accuracy and consistency, and provide feedback from a legal perspective on user experience.

Role Details

- Duration: 3 months minimum, remote
- Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours, structured around deliverables rather than fixed hours
- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. In exchange, we commit to real mentorship, meaningful work, and a genuine experience or recommendation letter that reflects it, not a token certificate

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in law, with knowledge of the Indian legal system and the key statutes relevant to practice workflows
- Solid analytical skills to interpret cases, identify legal issues, and structure complex legal information clearly
- Experience or training in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing legal documents and summaries
- Effective communication skills for writing clear legal content and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient research skills, including use of legal databases, case law search tools, and citation practices
- Currently pursuing or recently completed BA LLB, LLB, LLM, or an equivalent law degree from a recognized institution
- Attention to detail, high standards for accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple research and content tasks at once
- Comfort working with digital tools and genuine interest in legal technology, AI, and product-focused legal work
- Ability to commit to the role remotely on a flexible, part-time basis for the full internship duration
