Role Description The Junior Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. This position is responsible for supporting the procurement process for home automation and electrical components, including preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), comparing vendor offers, and assisting in supplier selection. The role involves creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, and maintaining accurate procurement documentation.

Engineer will monitor material costs, support inventory planning,



and help identify cost-saving opportunities while meeting quality and specification requirements. Collaboration with engineering, production, and logistics teams is essential to ensure the seamless availability of materials for ongoing projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in supplier evaluation and vendor assessment to support sourcing decisions.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and managing purchase orders and related procurement documentation.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to compare quotations, evaluate costs, and support data-driven decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and channel partners.
- Candidates should possess experience in managing requests for quotation (RFQ), including drafting, issuing, and tracking responses.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electrical or electronic components used in home automation is an advantage.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and procurement or ERP tools, along with attention to detail and strong organizational skills, is beneficial.
