Support the Senior Merchandiser in sample development, material planning, and order follow-up to ensure styles are approved and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure raw material availability for sample creation
- Fill in and follow up on pattern and marker requests
- Receive the recent style checklist from the Senior Merchandiser and track its progress
- Follow up on style approvals so production dates are met
- Check Material Requirement Charts (MRC) for all raw materials
- Release packages in coordination with the Merchandiser
- Maintain sample records and order files
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in garment/apparel merchandising
- Knowledge of raw materials, trims, and MRCs
- Good follow-up, coordination, and record-keeping skills
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
