Job Summary

We are looking for an Junior Civil Engineer – Geotechnical Laboratory with 1–2 years of experience in the Geotechnical Laboratory.

Experience: 1–2 Years

Job Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Candidate Location: Candidates must be based in Tamil Nadu (Mandatory)

Job Responsibilities

- Preparation of laboratory test reports under the guidance of the Laboratory In-charge.
- Recording, checking and compiling soil laboratory test results.
- Coordinating and conducting geotechnical field testing at project sites.
- Assisting in soil sample collection, identification and laboratory testing.
- Maintaining laboratory records, test registers and worksheets.
- Preparation and maintenance of NABL documentation as per ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.




- Maintaining equipment calibration records and other quality documents.
- Assisting in NABL audit preparation and implementation of quality procedures.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in a Geotechnical / Soil Testing Laboratory.
- Basic knowledge of soil mechanics and laboratory testing procedures.
- Knowledge of geotechnical field tests.
- Basic understanding of NABL documentation and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Positive technical documentation and coordination skills.
