Role Description This full-time Interior Designer role is an on-site position based in Gurgaon.

The Interior

Designer will develop innovative interior concepts, prepare detailed layouts and mood boards, and translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically aligned designs. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selection of materials and finishes, coordination of FF&E;, and preparation of construction drawings and presentations. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution, conducting site visits to review progress and resolve design issues.

Designer will also support client meetings, prepare design documentation, and contribute to sustainable, cost-effective solutions that align with project timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to balance functionality, aesthetics, and client needs.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in preparing and reading Construction Drawings, including detailed layouts, sections, and joinery details.
- Experience with FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finishes aligned with project standards.
- Competence in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools; familiarity with presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, InDesign) is beneficial.
- Strong visual, design, and detailing skills, with an eye for color, lighting, and materials.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with capacity to coordinate with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in commercial or residential interiors in a construction/project management environment is an advantage.
