About the Role

We are looking for a senior skilled to lead fund raising and investor relations for the fund. The individual will develop and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices and other capital providers, support the fund’s capital-raising strategy and maintain strong long-term investor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Investment Strategy & Capital Allocation – Lead the evaluation and execution of the fund’s investment strategy, capital deployment, and portfolio construction in alignment with the fund’s return objectives.
- Deal Evaluation & Investment Decisions – Oversee deal sourcing, screening, valuation, due diligence, and investment decisions, ensuring robust risk–return assessment and alignment with the fund’s investment mandate.




- Portfolio Management & Value Creation – Monitor portfolio performance, identify key risks and value-creation opportunities, and collaborate with portfolio companies to drive sustainable growth and maximize investment returns.
- Exits & Capital Markets – Develop and execute exit strategies, including IPOs, strategic sales, and secondary transactions, leveraging strong capital-markets expertise to maximize returns and optimize exit timing.
- Team Leadership & Fund Oversight – Lead, mentor, and develop the investment team, provide strategic direction on critical investment decisions, and partner with the CIO/Founder on the fund’s overall performance and long-term investment strategy.
- Investor Relations & Strategic Engagements – Participate in investor discussions, fund presentations, and stakeholder engagements while supporting broader investment management, fundraising, and strategic initiatives as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for a matured investment professional with a proven track record.

- Relevant Experience: 15+ years of experience across Private Equity, Venture Capital, AIFs, Asset Management, Investment Banking, or Capital Markets.
- Fund Size & AUM: Experience managing or being directly involved in funds or investment portfolios with ₹1,000 Cr+ in AUM or committed capital.
- Investment Track Record: Demonstrated success in investment decision-making, capital allocation,



and delivering strong risk-adjusted returns.
- IPO & Capital Markets Expertise: Significant experience in multiple IPOs, strategic exits, secondary transactions, or other major capital-market transactions.
- Market Cycle Experience: First-hand experience navigating at least two major market cycles or downturns, including the 2008 Global Financial Crisis and the COVID-19 market disruption.
- Investment Expertise: Strong understanding of investment strategy, financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, portfolio management, exits, and capital allocation.
- Leadership & Decision-Making: Proven ability to lead investment teams, exercise sound senior-level investment judgement, and drive strategic investment decisions.
- Industry Relationships: Established relationships across the private equity, investment, promoter, institutional investor, and capital-markets ecosystem.
- Communication & Representation: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with the ability to represent the fund confidently at the highest levels.
