Role Description This full-time Ground Instructor (CPL Holder) role at Pilot Training Academy – Top Crew Aviation is an on-site position based in Vasant Vihar.

The Ground

Instructor will conduct classroom-based training for aspiring commercial pilots, covering core subjects such as Air Navigation, Air Regulations, Meteorology, Aircraft Systems, and Human Factors.

Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and training materials, delivering interactive lectures, organizing assessments, and tracking student progress to ensure syllabus completion and exam readiness. The instructor will provide academic guidance, clarify complex technical concepts, and support students in developing strong theoretical foundations and professional attitudes.



Additional duties may include coordinating with flying instructors, participating in curriculum improvement, maintaining training records, and upholding academy standards for safety, discipline, and quality of instruction.

Qualifications

- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) from DGCA or an equivalent recognized authority, with robust theoretical knowledge of core aviation subjects.
- Proven experience in ground instruction or aviation training, preferably in a pilot training academy or airline training environment.
- Ability to design and deliver structured classroom sessions, create lesson plans, and use modern teaching and learning aids effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse groups of learners.
- Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance, with familiarity with DGCA rules, training standards, and examination requirements.
- Effective classroom management and mentoring skills, including the ability to motivate students, provide constructive feedback, and support different learning styles.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, learning management systems, and digital tools for content delivery, assessment, and record-keeping.
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, science, engineering, or a related field is preferred; additional instructional or teaching certifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Vasant Vihar, contribute to academy initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training quality.
