Role description : Freelance Copywriter (3 months Contract)

We are looking for a creative and witty Freelance Copywriter who can bring a quirky, playful and unconventional voice to our brand. The role involves crafting catchy, scroll-stopping and memorable copy for marketing campaigns, social media posts, promotional creatives and brand communication.

Qualifications

- Strong writing skills, including the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for diverse formats and audiences.
- Ability to develop press releases and other PR-related content that aligns with brand messaging and communication goals.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with marketing, design, and product teams, and for interpreting creative briefs.
- Attention to detail and proficiency in proofreading to ensure grammatical accuracy, consistency, and brand adherence.




- Understanding of marketing principles and experience creating copy for campaigns, digital channels, and customer-facing assets.
- Experience in or interest in pet care, consumer tech, or e-commerce is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
