Role Description The Fabric Assistant Manager at ECONEXA GLOBAL PVT. LTD. will support end-to-end fabric sourcing, evaluation, and execution for global textile programs. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves coordinating with suppliers, mills, and internal stakeholders to ensure that fabric requirements meet technical specifications, cost targets, quality standards, and sustainability goals.

The role includes managing sample development, tracking approvals, overseeing quality checks, and maintaining updated fabric libraries and databases aligned with ECONEXA’s intelligence platform.

The Fabric Assistant

Manager will assist in vendor negotiations,



monitor procurement timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve fabric-related issues quickly. Daily responsibilities also involve documentation, reporting, and supporting continuous improvement in sourcing processes and fabric performance metrics.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong textiles knowledge, including fabric types, yarns, constructions, finishes, and performance characteristics.
- Candidates should possess skills in quality control and fabric testing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and buyer standards.
- Candidates should possess procurement and sourcing skills, including vendor coordination, order follow-up, and cost awareness.
- Candidates should possess negotiation and supplier relationship management skills to secure competitive terms while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Candidates should possess team management and cross-functional collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in textiles, textile engineering, fashion technology, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience in fabric sourcing, textile manufacturing, or merchandising, preferably within export or brand environments, is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office or similar tools, and comfort working with digital platforms and data are preferred.
- Ability to work in office in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly in English and Hindi is beneficial
