Harvested Robotics is building next-generation agricultural robots combining computer vision, embedded systems, motion control and laser technology.

We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Hardware Engineer to take ownership of the electronics development across our robotic platforms. You'll be designing custom PCBs, drivers, power electronics, sensor interfaces, wiring harnesses and control systems that go directly into our products.

This is a product engineering role where you'll own hardware from concept and circuit design to PCB development, prototyping, testing and integration into the final machine.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop and bring up custom PCBs for robotic applications, including encoder boards, power boards, controller boards, sensor interfaces and strobe controllers.
- Develop embedded hardware using STM32, NXP and other microcontroller platforms.
- Own the complete PCB development lifecycle, including circuit architecture, schematic design, component selection, PCB layout, fabrication, assembly and validation.
- Design and develop motor driver circuits, BLDC/PMSM controllers and FOC-based motor control hardware.
- Design and develop laser drivers.
- Develop power electronics systems, including high-current switching circuits, MOSFET-based drivers, gate drivers, DC-DC converters and power distribution boards.
- Design complete electrical architectures and wiring harnesses for robotic machines, including cable routing, connector selection, pinouts, power distribution and protection.
- Develop interfaces for encoders, cameras, sensors, actuators, motors and other electronic subsystems.
- Work with communication interfaces such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485 and Ethernet.
- Debug, test and validate hardware using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers and other laboratory equipment.
- Work closely with mechanical,



robotics and software teams to integrate electronics into the product.
- Take ownership of hardware reliability, electrical safety, EMI/EMC considerations and performance under real-world operating conditions.
- Drive hardware iterations from prototype to field-tested and production-ready systems.

Requirements

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in embedded hardware development, electronics product development, robotics or industrial automation.
- Strong experience in PCB design using Altium Designer, KiCad or equivalent tools.
- Practical experience with STM32, NXP or other microcontroller platforms.
- Strong understanding of circuit design, schematic development, PCB layout and hardware debugging.
- Experience designing power electronics boards, motor drivers and high-current circuits.
- Understanding of BLDC/PMSM motors, FOC, MOSFETs, gate drivers and current sensing.
- Experience with DC-DC converters, power management, protection circuits and electrical distribution.
- Experience designing wiring harnesses, electrical schematics, connector interfaces and machine-level electrical systems.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485 and Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience with PCB bring-up, testing, troubleshooting and validation.
- Ability to independently take ownership of hardware development, from initial design to a working product.

Positive to have:

- Experience developing electronics for robotics, automotive, industrial equipment or autonomous systems.
- Experience with encoder interfaces, precision motion control and actuator electronics.
- Familiarity with embedded C/C++ and low-level firmware development.
- Experience designing rugged electronics for outdoor or harsh operating environments.
