JOB TITLE : EXECUTIVE - DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER - MERCHANDISING

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

•Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets through strategic planning, cost negotiation, and margin optimization.

•Generate and convert business opportunities into confirmed orders.

•Manage key buyer accounts and lead pricing negotiations.

•Oversee production planning, capacity, and execution to ensure quality and timely delivery.

•Identify business and operational risks and implement contingency plans.

•Lead, mentor, and develop merchandising teams to drive ownership and performance.

•Drive product development with design and sourcing teams, aligned with market trends.

•Ensure adherence to business, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

•Graduate in Textile/Apparel Technology.

•14–18 years of experience with apparel export companies,



people-management experience of 20+ colleagues.

•Prior apparel export-house experience managing international buyer accounts with PD background.

•Sportswear merchandising experience is preferred.

•Experience handling both Knit & Woven categories is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

•Good system knowledge and system savvy approach.

•Exposure to relevant systems/tools, particularly PLM.

•Sportswear / Performance Apparel experience is preferred across levels.

•Strong end-to-end (E2E) operational experience.

•Proven experience in performance apparel and sportswear.

•Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale business operations effectively.

•Positive Analytical Thinking and deadline oriented.

•Critical thinking system oriented.
