Role Description The Daycare Teacher is a full time, on-site role based at Medhaam Pre School and Day Care in Gurugram. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote holistic development across language, numeracy, motor skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.

The Daycare

Teacher will supervise children’s daily routines, including playtime, learning sessions, meals, and rest periods, while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include implementing the center’s curriculum,



maintaining classroom discipline and hygiene, observing and documenting children’s progress, and communicating regularly with families and colleagues. The teacher will collaborate with the team to support each child’s individual needs, participate in training and safety drills, and contribute to a positive, child-centered culture.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Day Care operations and Childcare, with the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Development principles and best practices for supporting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Experience in Curriculum Development for early years, including planning age-appropriate learning activities and play-based programs.
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues, including clear documentation and feedback.
- Relevant education or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a preschool, daycare, or early learning center setting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Gurugram, follow safety procedures, and participate in regular training and drills.
- Patience, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse children and families.
