Role Description The Commercial Refrigeration Technician is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The technician will install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems and related equipment used in kitchens and bakeries, ensuring optimal performance and food safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine inspections, conducting diagnostic tests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and completing preventive maintenance tasks.

The role also involves responding to service calls, documenting work performed, coordinating with project engineers and kitchen design teams, and advising clients on best practices for safe and efficient equipment operation.



The technician will follow company standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines while working independently or as part of a technical team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in preventive maintenance and general maintenance & repair of commercial refrigeration and related kitchen equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of electricity, including safe handling of electrical components and basic wiring for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Candidates should possess HVAC skills related to installation, servicing, and optimization of cooling systems in commercial environments.
- Relevant technical diploma or ITI certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Electrical, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in commercial refrigeration service, particularly for hotels, restaurants, or industrial kitchens, is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals, maintain service records, and communicate clearly with clients and team members.
- Commitment to workplace safety, adherence to quality standards, and willingness to work flexible hours as needed for service calls.
