Role Description The Communications and Storytelling Associate will be responsible for crafting clear, compelling narratives that highlight RSFP’s impact, farmer stories, and sustainable solutions. This full time, on-site role based in Indore involves developing content for press releases, social media, newsletters, and partner communications, as well as supporting the positioning of the Barefruit brand. The associate will work closely with internal teams to translate field insights into engaging stories, maintain consistent messaging across channels, and support strategic communication campaigns.





Day-to-day tasks include drafting and editing written materials, coordinating timelines and deliverables, managing basic communication projects, and ensuring brand voice and values are reflected in all external messaging. The role may also involve liaising with media, partners, and events teams to amplify RSFP’s mission and successes.

Qualifications

- Strong written communication and storytelling skills, including experience in Writing and Communication for diverse audiences.
- Ability to develop and implement Strategic Communications, including messaging frameworks and campaign support.
- Experience creating and managing Press Releases and other media-facing content.
- Demonstrated Project Management capabilities to coordinate communication initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working on-site in Indore and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including field, operations, and marketing staff.
- Interest in or experience with agriculture, sustainability, social impact, or rural development is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or local languages is an advantage for engaging with farmers and regional stakeholders.
- Basic familiarity with digital platforms (social media, email newsletters, content management tools) and an eye for brand-consistent communication.
