We’re hiring: Communication Designer at Varaha
We’re looking for a Communication Designer to own and evolve the Varaha visual identity and help tell the story of climate action, from global buyers and investors to the farmers at the heart of our work.
What you’ll do
→ Strengthen and evolve the Varaha brand and keep it consistent everywhere
→ Turn briefs, insights and stories into strong visual concepts with transparent rationale
→ Build brand guidelines, templates and asset libraries for teams across countries
→ Turn complex topics like carbon removal, MRV, soil science and project data into clear infographics, diagrams, maps and illustrations
→ Design social media content, website visuals, newsletters, ads and campaign key visuals
→ Create investor and buyer decks, impact reports, case studies and brochures
→ Design collateral, booths, merchandise and signage for global climate events
→ Create simple, multilingual materials for farmers and field partners in regional languages
→ Collaborate with writers, scientists, photographers, video teams, printers and agencies
→ Deliver polished, on-brand, print-ready and digital-ready files
What we’re looking for
→ A degree or diploma in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field (or an equally strong portfolio)
→ 2–5 years in communication design or branding at a studio, agency or in-house team
→ A portfolio showing concept-to-execution work, including identity systems, campaigns and at least one example of simplifying complex information
→ Strong typography, layout, colour and composition, with a systems mindset
→ Comfort designing for very different audiences, from corporate buyers to rural communities
→ Working knowledge of print production and digital formats
→ Clear communication skills and openness to feedback
→ A genuine interest in climate, sustainability or agriculture
