Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Chartered Accountant Article Assistant based in Guwahati.

The Article

Assistant will support audit and assurance assignments, including vouching, verification of financial records, and preparation of working papers under supervision. The role involves assisting in bookkeeping, preparation and analysis of financial statements,



and basic tax and regulatory compliance work.

The Article

Assistant will learn to work with accounting software, help in maintaining client documentation, and contribute to periodic financial reporting. The position offers structured practical training, exposure to diverse client engagements, and opportunities to develop professional skills aligned with Chartered Accountancy standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong fundamentals in Accounting and Finance.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of Bookkeeping and related record-keeping activities.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Accounting Software and basic computer applications (MS Excel, Word).
- Enrollment as a Chartered Accountancy student (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per applicable regulations) is preferred.
- Robust analytical ability, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn in a structured training environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, manage time efficiently, and collaborate within a professional team.
