Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based at IZee Business School in Bengaluru. This role involves guiding prospective students through the admissions process, including responding to inquiries, counseling candidates on suitable programs, and explaining eligibility, course structure, and career outcomes. The counselor will conduct campus visits and information sessions, manage application documentation, and coordinate entrance interviews or assessments where required.

Daily responsibilities include maintaining follow-up with leads, supporting admissions events,



collaborating with academic and marketing teams, and updating records in admissions systems. The role requires a student-centric approach, strong communication, and an ability to represent IZee’s values and offerings in a professional manner.

Qualifications

- Solid Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to interact effectively with prospective students, families, and internal teams.
- Customer Service skills with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and professional support throughout the admissions journey.
- Sales-oriented abilities to convert inquiries into enrollments ethically, including lead follow-up, persuasion, and goal-focused outreach.
- Background or interest in Education, with the ability to explain academic programs and career pathways clearly and accurately.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in Business, Education, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or admissions software; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages (such as Kannada or Hindi) is an advantage.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in admissions counseling, student advisory, or educational sales.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple tasks, and meet admissions timelines and targets.
