Role Description The Admission Counselor role is a full-time, in office position based in the Pune Division. The counselor will guide prospective students and families through the entire admission process for overseas MBBS and other programs, including initial inquiry handling, counseling sessions, and follow-up communication. Daily responsibilities include assessing student profiles, recommending suitable universities and courses, coordinating documentation and application submission, and providing clear information on eligibility, fees, and timelines.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records in internal systems, supporting outreach or information sessions,



collaborating with colleagues to improve counseling processes, and contributing to student satisfaction and conversion goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to counsel students and interact with families effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to manage queries, provide timely support, and build trust with prospective applicants.
- Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including consultative selling and follow-up, to support student enrollment and conversion targets ethically.
- Candidates should possess Education-related awareness, such as knowledge of Online Degree admission processes, Online UG & PG programs, and Indian education systems.
- Additional qualifications: proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong organizational and time-management skills, and fluency in English; fluency in regional languages is an advantage.
- Preferred background: prior experience in counseling, admissions, or education consulting, and a bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
