Role Description The Admission Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based at KK Modi University in Durg. The individual in this position will guide prospective students and their families through the admission process, including responding to inquiries, explaining programs and eligibility criteria, and assisting with application completion and documentation. The role involves conducting campus tours, participating in admission events, school visits, and outreach activities to promote university programs.

The Admission

Counsellor will maintain accurate records of leads and applications, follow up with applicants, coordinate with academic and administrative teams, and support conversion of inquiries into enrollments.



The position also requires providing clear, respectful communication, ensuring a positive applicant experience, and adhering to institutional policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, parents, and stakeholders.
- Customer service and counselling abilities, including active listening, empathy, and providing explicit guidance on academic programs and career paths.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, maintain records, and meet admission timelines and targets.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for managing databases, preparing reports, and communicating via email and online platforms.
- Knowledge of higher education admission processes and an understanding of student recruitment and outreach activities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, management, or counselling is preferred.
- Prior experience in admissions, student counselling, or education services will be an advantage.
