Role Description: This full-time, on-site Calibration Engineer role is based in Puducherry.

The Calibration

Engineer will perform routine and specialized calibration of instruments and equipment, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with relevant standards. Daily responsibilities include executing calibration and testing procedures, documenting results, preparing reports, and maintaining calibration records and certificates. The role involves troubleshooting measurement issues, supporting root cause analysis, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and assisting in the upkeep and improvement of calibration facilities and processes. The engineer will follow safety protocols, support audits and quality initiatives,



and interact with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify technical requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Calibration and Testing for a variety of instruments and systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Powertrain systems and related measurement requirements, where applicable.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering, including instrumentation, control systems, and circuit fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a structured approach to data recording.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site technical team environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or a related discipline) is preferred; prior experience in calibration or testing labs is an advantage. Freshers can apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform calibration activities using relevant instruments and equipment.
- Assist in testing, measurement and calibration procedures.
- Maintain calibration records and technical documentation.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable calibration standards.
