Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer role based at Zydus Hospitals Vadodara in India.

The Biomedical

Engineer will oversee the installation, calibration, and routine operation checks of medical equipment across hospital departments. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinating with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective equipment use, and maintaining detailed documentation of service activities.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess experience with Medical Equipment and Equipment Maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled inspections, performance testing, and safety checks.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Understanding of healthcare safety standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a clinical setting.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clinical staff, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment is preferred.
