Role Description The Bidder – IT Business Development role is a remote, contract position responsible for identifying, bidding on, and securing new IT projects and partnerships. Day-to-day activities include researching potential clients and opportunities on platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and other bidding portals, preparing tailored proposals, and responding to RFQs and RFPs. The role involves coordinating with technical teams to understand project requirements, estimating timelines and budgets, and presenting solutions that align with client needs.

The Bidder will maintain communication with prospects, follow up on leads,



support contract negotiations, and help build long-term client relationships. This role also includes tracking bid performance, optimizing bidding strategies, and contributing to the overall growth of HexTags Technologies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid business development and bidding skills, including experience with online bidding platforms, proposal writing, and lead generation.
- Candidates should possess client communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand requirements, clarify scope, and present solutions clearly.
- Candidates should possess basic IT and software project understanding, including familiarity with mobile app development, web development, and AI or custom software concepts.
- Candidates should possess analytical and organizational skills, such as market research, opportunity assessment, time management, and pipeline tracking.
