Role Description This is a full time, on-site Avionics DO-254 Hardware V&V; Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The engineer will perform hardware verification and validation activities for safety-critical avionics systems in accordance with DO-254 guidelines, including test planning, test case development, and execution. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing hardware requirements and design documentation, developing verification procedures, analyzing test results, and documenting findings to ensure compliance with regulatory and certification standards.

The role involves close collaboration with hardware design engineers, systems engineers, and quality teams to identify issues, support root-cause analysis,



and drive corrective actions. The engineer will also contribute to process improvements, configuration management, and audit readiness for hardware certification.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Aircraft Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for avionics and hardware systems.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Aircraft Systems and understanding of system-level interactions and safety requirements.
- Candidates should possess skills in interpreting Wiring Diagrams and working with aircraft electrical and electronic architectures.
- Experience with DO-254 compliant hardware V&V;, including test planning, procedure development, and test execution, is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of DO-178B/DO-178C processes, safety-critical development practices, and aerospace certification standards is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using hardware test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) and relevant simulation or test automation tools is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Avionics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
