Role Description The Autocad Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for training learners in AutoCAD for civil engineering and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include designing and delivering structured training sessions, preparing course materials and practical exercises, and demonstrating AutoCAD techniques for 2D drafting and basic 3D modeling. The trainer will assess participant progress, provide individual guidance, and offer feedback on drawings and project assignments.

The role also involves updating training content to align with current industry standards,



coordinating with project teams to reflect real-world use cases, and maintaining organized records of training schedules and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for civil engineering applications, including 2D drafting, layout creation, and basic 3D visualization.
- Experience creating and delivering technical training content, including lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Ability to explain complex drafting and design concepts clearly, with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering fundamentals, construction drawings, and industry documentation standards.
- Prior experience as a trainer, instructor, or mentor in CAD or engineering-related topics is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Solid organizational skills, reliability in maintaining training schedules, and capacity to work collaboratively on-site.
- Familiarity with other design or BIM tools (e.g., Revit, STAAD, or similar) is an added advantage.
