Role Description The Assistant Professor F&B; Service (Hotel Management) is a full-time, on-site position based in Haldwani. The role involves planning and delivering lectures, practical sessions, and demonstrations related to food and beverage service, restaurant operations, and hospitality standards. The incumbent will design course materials, assess student performance, mentor learners, and support curriculum development aligned with industry trends.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising labs and training restaurants, coordinating internships or industry visits, maintaining academic records, and contributing to departmental meetings and academic events.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations, restaurant management, and hotel management fundamentals.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons, including use of modern teaching methods and training aids.
- Competence in student assessment, mentoring, academic advising, and classroom management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a Master’s degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management (or equivalent); a Ph.D. or NET/SET qualification is an advantage.
- Prior teaching or industry experience in hospitality or F&B; service; experience in training and skill development will be beneficial.
