Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Branch Manager role based in Meerut.

The Assistant Branch

Manager supports branch operations, including overseeing daily customer service activities, loan processing workflows, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role involves guiding the branch team in meeting business targets, managing pipeline and portfolio quality, and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and issues. The person in this role will help drive local business development initiatives, build relationships with customers and partners, and support credit and risk assessment processes.

Manager also collaborates with senior branch leadership to implement process improvements, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold a culture of integrity and performance.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust branch operations and customer service skills, including experience in handling loan applications, documentation, and query resolution.
- Candidates should possess business development and relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships in the local market.
- Candidates should possess basic credit assessment, risk awareness, and compliance skills relevant to housing finance or financial services.
- Candidates should possess team coordination and people management skills, including mentoring staff and supporting performance and productivity goals.
- Candidates should possess solid communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in housing finance, banking, NBFCs, or financial services is highly beneficial.
- A graduate degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field is preferred; a postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Meerut, with proficiency in local language(s) and basic computer skills (MS Office, MIS reporting) is desirable.
