Role Description The Agricultural Drone Pilot is a full-time, on-site role based in Davangere. The role involves operating agricultural drones for tasks such as crop monitoring, spraying, mapping, and data collection across fields and farm sites. The pilot will conduct pre-flight inspections, plan flight paths, configure payloads, and ensure safe, compliant operations in alignment with company and regulatory guidelines.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with agronomy and operations teams, maintaining equipment, logging flight data, and reporting issues or findings from field missions. The role also includes assisting with client demonstrations, providing basic training to field staff,



and supporting continuous improvements in drone-based agricultural workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Drone Piloting skills, including practical experience flying Drones in field environments.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of UAV systems and Piloting procedures, including safety protocols and basic troubleshooting.
- Candidates should possess the ability to deliver or support Training related to drone usage, operational best practices, and field safety.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with agricultural operations, crop management, or precision farming concepts (preferred but not mandatory).
- Candidates should possess valuable observational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized operating procedures.
- Candidates should possess basic technical aptitude for handling hardware, batteries, and software applications used for mission planning and data logging.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with field and operations teams.
- Relevant drone pilot certification or licensing, and a valid ability to meet local regulatory requirements for UAV operations, are highly beneficial.
