Responsibilities

- Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Ensure timely receipt and put-away of incoming FG and proper identification and storage.
- Ensure FG availability from production and support on-time customer dispatches.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting, stock verification and reconciliation.
- Monitor FIFO / FEFO practices and control ageing, obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are completed accurately and on time in ERP / JDE system.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Purchase, Quality, Customer Service and Logistics teams.
- Manage warehouse manpower and allocate work based on daily priorities and workload.
- Ensure proper FG handling and optimum utilization of warehouse space and equipment.
- Monitor dispatch performance and ensure proper documentation and compliance requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, 5S and visual management in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, safety procedures and company policies.




- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, picking accuracy, productivity and on-time dispatch.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and automation.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Train and guide warehouse operators and ensure adherence to standard work instructions

Qualifications

- Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in warehouse, stores or logistics operations.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial workplace is preferred.
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably JDE or similar ERP.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes and FG handling.
- Knowledge of FIFO, 5S, Lean and basic EHS requirements.
- Experience in handling and supervising warehouse teams.
