Key Responsibilities
- Test Case Creation : Write, review, and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on product requirements.
- Bug Reporting : Document and log defects clearly with exact steps to reproduce, screenshots, and system logs using tracking tools (like Jira, Trello, or Google Sheets).
- Regression Testing : Re-test fixed bugs shared by the development team to ensure the existing features are working perfectly.
- Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with Frontend (React.js) developers to help them understand defects and verify hotfixes.
Skills & Qualifications Needed
- Core Concepts : Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC),
Bug Life Cycle, and fundamental QA methodologies.
- Analytical Mindset : An exceptional eye for detail with a natural knack for finding hidden edge cases and breaking software.
- Technical Familiarity : Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML/CSS) and browser developer tools (Inspect Element) is highly preferred.
- Communication : Good written and verbal communication skills to document bugs clearly.
- Education : Pursuing or recently completed graduation in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical QA training.
