Role Description The CDP Pastry Viennoiserie role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The role involves preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of pastries and viennoiserie items, ensuring quality, taste, and consistency. Daily tasks include measuring ingredients, mixing dough and batters, shaping and proofing products, monitoring baking times, and managing production schedules. The CDP will maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, organize workstation and storage areas,



and support inventory management. Collaboration with the pastry team on new recipes, seasonal menus, and improvements in presentation and efficiency is an essential part of the role.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in bakery operations, including baking techniques and pastry/viennoiserie preparation.
- Demonstrated creativity skills for developing and presenting attractive pastries and baked items.
- Commitment to hygiene and food safety practices, following standard operating procedures and regulations.
- Basic cooking skills that support pastry production and overall kitchen coordination.
- Previous experience in a professional bakery, patisserie, or hotel pastry department is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a respectful and collaborative approach to colleagues.
- Relevant culinary or bakery certification/diploma is an advantage.
