## Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced **Sourcing & Procurement Team Leader / Subject Matter Expert (SME)** to manage day-to-day procurement operations, lead a team, ensure SLA compliance, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate should have strong procurement knowledge, supplier management experience, analytical skills, and the ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.

## Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 10–15 members, including recruitment, training, performance management, and attrition management.

- Oversee day-to-day sourcing and procurement operations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreed SLAs and quality standards.

- Manage domestic and international suppliers, customers, and stakeholders.

- Establish process controls, quality plans, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.

- Handle requester and supplier queries, resolve operational issues, and manage process exceptions.

- Manage contract and catalog creation, administration, and compliance monitoring.

- Support category management teams with administrative activities, including spend consolidation, data analysis, and purchase order reviews.

- Coordinate with client organizations to understand and meet business and delivery requirements.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and process performance.

- Identify process gaps, implement corrective actions,



and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure robust compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and contractual requirements.

- Identify potential operational risks and develop effective mitigation plans.

## Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong understanding of sourcing and procurement processes.

- Proven experience as a Team Leader or SME in a sourcing and procurement process.

- Experience in team management and stakeholder coordination.

- Knowledge of domestic and international supplier management.

- Exposure to ERP and procurement tools such as **Oracle, Coupa, and SAP**.

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and data analysis.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong focus on results, quality, compliance, and process improvement.

## Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 6 years and maximum 10 years of relevant experience.

- Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).

- Candidates must be comfortable working from Bangalore.

- **Former TCS employees are not eligible to apply.**

- PAN and Date of Birth (DOB) are mandatory for profile creation.
