we implement innovative software solutions to provide our clients with a seamless trading experience.The individual will be a senior member of the Equity Swaps Technology Development team and will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing and delivering business-critical applications supporting the Equity Swaps business. He/She will be expected to have strong hands-on Python development experience , sound software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work on complex enterprise applications and technology platforms.
The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment comprising multiple applications, platforms and technologies. The role will involve solution design, hands-on development, code reviews, unit and integration testing, troubleshooting,



performance optimization, deployment and production stability .
The role requires the candidate to be passionate and hands-on with technology, with strong analytical, programming, debugging and problem-solving skills. The individual will actively participate in system design and architecture discussions in addition to implementation, testing and deployment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with strong programming acumen, the ability to develop a positive understanding of the Equity Swaps domain, and sufficient experience to deliver complex projects with minimal supervision and end-to-end ownership .
o Design, develop, enhance and maintain high-quality Python applications and services supporting the Equity Swaps business.
o Develop clean, reusable, maintainable and well-tested code in accordance with established software engineering standards.
o Design and integrate application components using APIs, messaging, databases and other appropriate integration patterns.
o Perform hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, root-cause analysis and resolution of complex application issues.
o Develop appropriate unit and integration tests and ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
o Identify opportunities to improve application performance, scalability, resiliency, maintainability and observability .
o Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, engineering best practices and application controls.
o Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps and automated software delivery practices .
o Be capable of independently driving development initiatives and delivering projects with end-to-end ownership and accountability .
o Ensure high-quality standards across all technical deliverables.
o Participate and contribute to Agile ceremonies, project compliance reviews and audit activities.
o Learn and adopt new technologies as future development may involve diverse platforms, software, frameworks and tools.

Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Certifications (if any): Relevant Python,



Cloud or software engineering certifications are not mandatory but will be an added advantage.
Experience Range: 6- 9 years
Strong hands-on Python development experience with excellent programming and software engineering fundamentals.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns .
- Experience designing, developing and supporting complex enterprise-scale applications .
- Experience with Quartz framework would be a strong advantage.
- Confident working in Linux environments , including shell scripting.
- Solid experience with SQL, relational databases and data management concepts .
- Experience developing and integrating applications using APIs and service-based interfaces .
- Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing and automated testing practices .
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with source control, build processes and CI/CD practices .
- Understanding of application performance, resiliency, scalability and production stability considerations.
- Demonstrable experience developing or supporting applications in complex technology environments.
- Business knowledge or exposure to Equities, Equity Derivatives, Equity Swaps or Global Markets is preferred.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and financial markets integration would be advantageous.
- Ability and expertise working in an Agile development methodology .
- Ability to take ownership of complex development deliverables and work with minimal supervision.
- Possess strong analytical, programming, problem-solving and creative thinking skills .Hands-on experience developing solutions using the Quartz framework .
- Work experience in Global Markets / Equities / Equity Swaps / Prime Brokerage technology .
- Experience developing high-volume, scalable or performance-sensitive applications .
- Experience implementing and improving application resiliency and production stability .
- Experience with application performance monitoring, profiling and optimization.
- Exposure to observability and monitoring technologies , such as Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
- Exposure to architecture and design practices across Python, Java and/or Scala technology stacks.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud and Containerization technologies , including Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools , such as Ansible and Jenkins.
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks and engineering practices that improve software quality and delivery efficiency.

Possess strong analytical, programming, problem-solving and creative thinking skills .
