As a Field Service Engineer , you are responsible for supporting the needs of our clients in Maharasthra , which directly impacts patient health and overall well-being. You perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, and installation support on various mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic units. Also, you will support and assist in the training of dealers' service personnel and assist Service Manager in Customer Education Programs.

As this is a territory-based position with travelling within your designated territory, ideally you are based in Mumbai or Pune .

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance required on STERIS and related product lines. schematics, diagrams, technical manuals, etc.).

Maintain and build a very good working relationship with the Service team members, Region Manager, Service Manager, and Sales Team and advice on the activities and changes related to sales opportunities in the territory

Develop and maintain effective, communicative relationships with customers, managers, support functions and the sales and dealer organization.



Communicate activities to customers related to scheduling Preventative Maintenance and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work. Utilize provided product and industry knowledge to assure customer's expectations of service are exceeded. Actively seek continuing education opportunities to reinforce and support STERIS overall Sales & Service strategies

Supporting dealers in response to customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance

Utilize customer protocols when entering and exiting facilities and abide by all Health & Safety protocols

Assist and Conduct Dealer Service Training and End User training

The Experience, Skills And Abilities Needed

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field

Adequate years of field working experience in hospital and medical equipment servicing and maintenance

Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul, or refurbish standard and special purpose equipment and systems components

Enjoy travelling and visiting customers
